Career Paths
These are two of the common career paths for Gartner Events associates:

• Events Marketing: These are hands-on, high-energy roles focused on strategy and implementation. Primarily focused on Symposium/ITxpo, Summit Events and Vision Events, these associates need to be flexible, team-first professionals. In addition, this team conducts all database marketing activities for Gartner events around the world.
• Events Logistics: Associates in this area of Gartner Events can progress from Coordinator to Planner to Senior Planner, as well as Manager, Director and VP. These are exciting, travel-oriented positions focused on planning the fine details of global events. The positions typically do not fall into regular nine-to-five hours.
